Text description provided by the architects. Located 37 kilometers from the city of Monterrey is Villa de Santiago, a colonial town that welcomes hundreds of visitors every weekend, serving as the gateway to natural landscapes such as rivers, waterfalls, and forests, as well as canyoning and climbing sites within the Sierra Madre Oriental. Traditionally, it has also been a place for country houses or vacation estates. Such is the case for this project, situated on a plot with views of the nearby mountains, just outside the town.
