Text description provided by the architects. The Bioparque Pantanal was conceived as an icon of new technologies and born from the need to invest in regional research, highlighting the most important lake and lagoon system in the world. Located on the main avenue of Campo Grande, the Bioparque building stands out for its striking form, materials, and overall proposal. The zinc-clad portion of the facade, for instance, immediately reveals the technology involved in the project's construction, which also introduced elements rarely seen in the region to the capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul — such as double-glazed glass treated to limit solar heat gain and the metallic structure supporting part of the building.
